What is Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs)?
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multipotent adult stromal cells capable of self-renewal and differentiation into bone, cartilage, fat and connective tissue. In clinical regenerative medicine MSCs are valued primarily for their paracrine activity — the secretion of growth factors, cytokines and extracellular vesicles that modulate immune response, reduce chronic inflammation and stimulate native tissue repair. MSCs used at TurkeyStemcell are isolated from Wharton's Jelly of donated umbilical cords, expanded under GMP conditions, and released to patients only after sterility, viability and karyotype testing.
